A Saguaro Night

A Saguaro Cactus stands tall against the starry night in the Saguaro National Park near Tuscon Arizona. This composite photo is comprised of over 140 images taken over the course of 2 hours. Post processing involved many hours of Photoshop work to remove airplanes, clouds, and cars to achieve this final product.

A GRAND PRISMATIC

The Grand Prismatic as viewed from a nearby hill. The climb up this hillside is steep and treacherous. The Yellowstone fire in 1988 has left it covered in ash and full of "widow makers." But the view from near the top is well worth it.

Crystal Forest in the Petrified Forest National Park is a stunning place to wander around late in the day. The colors of the petrified wood comes alive as the sun sets.
